Booking & stay
How can I book an overnight stay and/or additional services?
The quickest way is via the “Book now” button on our website. For special inquiries (e.g. long stays, company bookings or individual requests), please use our contact form or write to us directly.
Are longer stays (long stays = minimum 28 days) possible?
Yes, some of our units are explicitly designed for temporary living and longer stays. We offer individual conditions for long stays. The Penthouse Loft 5.5.1 can be rented for at least 2 months.
Arrival & Departure
When is check-in and check-out?
Check-in: 15:00-19:00 (in person). Outside of these times, self check-in via key box or digital door code is possible. You will receive the details before arrival.
Check-out: until 11:00 am
Is the building accessible around the clock?
The building is open to the public daily from 08:00-20:00. Outside of these times, access is only possible with a key/transponder. The building is under security surveillance.
Can I check in earlier or check out later?
Possible depending on occupancy. Please contact us in advance – we will check availability individually. A surcharge may apply.
Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Possible on site depending on availability. Alternatively, we recommend external luggage storage nearby (e.g. Radical Storage).
Amenities & Services
Is there housekeeping or laundry service?
Final cleaning is charged for every booking. In addition, a cleaning and laundry service can be booked for a fee on request.
Is there a reception desk?
No, we do not have a 24/7 reception.
Is there a workplace for remote work?
Most of the apartments are work-friendly. Please contact us if you have any special requirements.
How fast is the WLAN?
All units have stable high-speed WLAN.
Is there a washing machine?
Yes, all apartments are equipped with a washing machine and environmentally friendly detergent for your first wash.
Pets, families & accessibility
Are pets allowed?
Pets are very welcome. We charge €25 per night for each pet. Please note that pets are only possible on request and that one pet is allowed per apartment.
Are families welcome?
Yes, our apartments are family-friendly.
Are there cribs?
Cribs up to a maximum size of 120 cm are available free of charge on request.
Are the apartments barrier-free?
Some units have limited barrier-free access. All apartments are accessible by elevator. Please let us know your requirements – we will recommend the right unit for you.
Parking & location
Are there parking facilities?
Yes, parking in a secure parking space with a separate gate is possible for a fee of €30 per day (subject to availability).
Where are the apartments located?
Our apartments are located in Berlin-Mitte / Wedding – central, urban and excellently connected.
Which bus stops are in the immediate vicinity?
A 3-minute walk away in the same street, Lindower Straße, is the S-Bahn station Berlin-Wedding. The S+U Wedding subway station is a 4-minute walk away.
How do I get to you from the airport or main station?
Airport BER: FEX to Berlin Hbf → S-Bahn to Friedrichstraße → U6 to Wedding
Alternatively: FEX to Gesundbrunnen
Prices, payment & invoice
Is the price per person or per apartment?
The price is per apartment for the number of persons booked. In addition, final cleaning costs and the Berlin city tax (7.5% on the overnight price) will be charged. The final cleaning is not included in the daily rate and will be charged separately.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Depending on the booking method, credit card or bank transfer are possible. Monthly payments by bank transfer are common for long stays.
Will I receive an invoice (e.g. for business trips)?
Yes, please enter your company address and VAT ID when booking.
Is a deposit required?
A deposit is required for selected bookings (especially long stays).
Cancellation & changes
What are the cancellation conditions?
Cancellation conditions depend on the rate booked (flexible or non-refundable) and are displayed during the booking process.
Can I change my booking?
Changes (dates, number of persons) are possible subject to availability and tariff conditions. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
What happens if I arrive late?
Please inform us in advance so that we can organize the check-in smoothly.
House rules & stay
Is smoking allowed?
No. All apartments are non-smoking apartments. Special cleaning costs from approx. 1,500 € will be charged for violations.
Are parties or events allowed?
We ask you to be considerate and moderate in your noise levels and to show due consideration for local residents. Some of our units can be booked for events. These must be requested separately and we will be happy to make you an offer.
May I receive visitors?
Yes, we ask you to comply with the house rules. Overnight guests must still be registered in the correct number. You may receive guests, e.g. for a joint dinner or similar, we ask you to behave respectfully towards the community.
Security & Miscellaneous
Is registration (residence) possible?
Registration is possible for selected long-stay units.
What to do if there is damage in the apartment?
Please inform us immediately – at the latest before check-out – by email, telephone or WhatsApp. We will then discuss the next steps.
Special features Door system (Lindower Straße 18)
The main gate is locked from the outside from 22:00. It can be opened from the inside at any time (fire protection). You have access to all relevant areas with your key/transponder.
The building & the history
What is special about the building at Lindower Strasse 18?
Stadtflucht Homes is located in a revitalized Berlin industrial building dating back to 1905. The historic building has been carefully renovated and complemented by a contemporary extension. The result is an architectural ensemble that combines industrial history with modern, sustainable living.
The building was originally used as an industrial building – typical of the north of Berlin in the early 20th century. Characteristic elements such as generous room heights, robust materials and clear structures still define the special loft character of many areas today.
What role does sustainability play in refurbishment?
During the further development of the building, the focus was on a responsible approach to the existing building. The combination of preserving the historic building fabric and modern, resource-saving construction methods reflects Stadtflucht Homes’ attitude: valuing the existing and thinking ahead for the future.
